About the Teenage and Young Adult (TYA) service

The Teenage and Young Adult (TYA) service at The Christie provides specialist care for teenagers and young adults (16-24 years of age) with a cancer diagnosis and related illnesses.

When you’re referred to The Christie, the TYA service will work with the teams at your local treating hospital. They will join you at clinic appointments and when you are having treatment.
