Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS)
These experienced professionals support you throughout your care. They’ll be there at clinics when you meet us for the first time, as well as during the follow-up periods. They’re also present on our ward rounds and will see you as inpatients.

Our consultants are vastly experienced and respected in their fields.
Liver surgeons
Experienced liver surgeon Mr. Rahul Deshpande attends our inter-disciplinary meetings to discuss and operate with us on relevant cases. Liver surgeon Mr. Nicola de' Liguori Carino also operates with us for selected procedures.
HIPEC practitioners
Hyperthermic Intra-Peritoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) is a complicated and intricate process that requires meticulous planning, dosing and administration. Rachel Aziz leads our team of four practitioners.
Oncology team
Oncology is the study of tumours and Dr. Mark Saunders is our lead Consultant Clinical Oncologist. He has a wealth of experience in treating peritoneal tumours (including PMP and colorectal cancer with peritoneal metastases), colorectal cancer and anal cancer.
Histopathology team
Histopathologists study tumours by examining tissue with microscopes. Dr. Bipasha Chakarabarti’s leads our experienced team. She offers a second opinion for all of the pathology slides we request, clarifying some of the complex pathology we receive.
Radiology team
Our world-leading radiology team led by Rohit Kochar, interpret patients’ scans and are a key part of the multi-disciplinary team that makes recommendations on patient care. If we need help accessing difficult parts of the body through radiology guided biopsies, we also have an excellent interventional radiology team led by Dr. Hans-Ulrich Laasch.
Data collection and research team
To continually improve our performance we constantly monitor our results. We regularly review this data to discuss how we can improve. We also have surgical, oncology-related research project managers who make sure we can continue undertaking outstanding cancer-related research.
Administrative team
Our dedicated team collect all the relevant information required for us to give an opinion including scans, operation notes, histology reports and histology slides. They help us communicate effectively with you and your doctors.
