This online workshop offers a chance to discuss challenges, discover new strategies and build confidence in communicating with people when they are confused, angry or distressed.
This workshop aims to support staff who regularly meet patients and their carers. It will focus on specific, key skills for effective and compassionate communication. It will build on existing skills and knowledge using real-life examples interactive exercises and demonstrations.
Frontline health and social care staff, booking clerks, medical secretaries, ward/clinic staff pharmacy staff, receptionists.
3 hour workshop - We will build on your skills and experience through discussion and experiential activities. There will be an opportunity to see the skills in action using a live demonstration.
