Nick's reasons for standing to be a governor are that he is passionate about improving patient care and raising cancer awareness in the community. Helping others fight cancer has been a large part of his life since cancer first touched him nineteen years ago. Some of the things he has done to raise cancer awareness are the New York marathon and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

Nick is keen to bring his passion and experience to his role as governor and to work tirelessly to help others and enhance the Trust's reputation.
