Greater Manchester Cancer Vanguard

Based largely at The Christie, the programme was one of three partners in the national Cancer Vanguard which was set up to pilot new models of cancer care across Manchester and London. These aimed to improve the rates of earlier diagnosis and detection, improve patient outcomes and experience and reduce variation in services.

The programme concluded in March 2018. You can visit its website here.

We are part of the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership. The partnership was formed to oversee the devolution of health and social care services in the Greater Manchester region.
