Mr Arie Parnham, consultant urologist at The Christie, joined the invited faculty at the European Urology Residents Education Programme (EUREP) 2026 to teach European residents about penile cancer.

New UK research aims to make penile cancer surgery safer

A major UK study involving The Christie has provided the clearest picture yet of the risk of blood clots following penile cancer surgery. It is the first large UK study to look specifically at venous thromboembolism, or VTE, after this type of surgery.
