The Christie Private Care offers:

  • Supportive services: Hospital treatment ensures patients receive the safety and expertise of a comprehensive medical environment in a dedicated cancer hospital.

  • A named Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS): Patients at The Christie Private Care will have a CNS as the main point of contact throughout their treatment. They coordinate care, answer patients’ questions and provide emotional support and expert guidance.

  • A specialist environment: Living with cancer, going through treatment and coming to the end of active care can be both physically and emotionally challenging for cancer patient. A team of experts can provide additional tailored support for private patients.

  • Access to a 24/7 nurse-led helpline: Patients can call The Christie Private Care’s dedicated helpline with any medical concerns, questions about treatment, or for advice about any side effects.

  • Access to a range of treatment options: The Christie Private Care provides established therapies like chemotherapy, as well as the latest immunotherapies, targeted treatments and hormone treatments, including treatments not currently available at other centres. They also provide dedicated administrative support to help navigate preauthorisation with insurers, and can provide self-pay quotes.

  • Leading cancer experts: Patients can choose a named consultant to lead their care.

  • An expert nursing team: The Christie Private Care’s nursing team specialise in delivering systemic anti-cancer therapies. They’re trained in the latest treatment techniques and will be on hand to monitor patients throughout their treatment.
