Christie Patient Centred Research

The Christie Patient Centred Research (CPCR) team believes in putting people at the heart of research. By conducting high-quality research focusing on patient and family members experiences and quality of life, we can collect important information about what it’s like to go through cancer treatment and how it affects people. Understanding patients’ feelings and experiences is a key part of research and also helps decision making in cancer care.

CPCR are also keen to support nurses and AHPs pursue careers in research as we believe that clinical staff are well placed to identify potential areas of improvement in cancer care.
