The School of Oncology is a significant provider of specialist cancer-related education for students and professionals across a wide range of disciplines and stages of their careers. It provides online, hybrid and face to face innovative education packages accessed by a wide range of international learners, observers, and fellows, supported by our specialist units including proton beam therapy, PET-CT and Maguire Advanced Communications.
Over the last 5 years, The Christie International (Education) has supported a range of international institutional educational partnerships in Malaysia, India, Australia, Kenya, Uganda, China, Egypt. It has also supported The Christie International (Consulting) in its project in Nigeria.
The Christie International and the School of Oncology work with a number of organisations to deliver a bespoke range of education programmes, including:
- Short course delivery
- Observerships, fellowships and placements
- Lecture and seminar facilitation
- Bespoke workshop delivery overseas
The Christie continues to host a substantial number of individual overseas learners accessing education through either the clinical observership programme for short-term observational visits, or via the international fellowship programme for international medical graduates who are joining The Christie as clinical staff members.
