The Christie hosts a total of 95,000 outpatient appointments at the 6 outpatient locations across the site each year. For many people this is their first introduction to the hospital. 

All outpatient clinics operate from outpatients A (department 22). Patients can self-check-in at screens placed in the outpatients reception lobby, just off the main corridor. There are staff members and volunteers on hand at all times to help patients check in and find their way around the department.

Outpatients A is located in the centre of The Christie - there are signs in place and staff on hand to guide you there. You will also receive a letter containing this information when you have an outpatients appointment.

If you have an appointment for bloods before your clinic, you need to head to the blood room (department 35).
