Health Advisory Service

The Health Advisory Service at The Christie offers advice and treatment sessions to help patients, visitors and staff to stop smoking and remain smoke free, as well as dealing with alcohol dependency or drug addiction advice.

The supportive care team

Supportive care in cancer is the prevention and management of the adverse effects of cancer and its treatment. This includes management of physical and psychological symptoms and side effects from diagnosis through treatment to post-treatment care.
