Peritoneal tumour patient day: 1 October 2026

The Colorectal and Peritoneal Oncology Centre (CPOC) will be holding the next peritoneal tumour service (PTS) patient day on Thursday 1 October 2026. This will be the 10-year anniversary of the patient day, which is certainly a cause for celebration!

We want to invite past and present patients and relatives to The Christie to have the opportunity to meet the team including the colorectal consultants, clinical nurse specialists, stoma nurses and other allied health professionals.

The aim of the day is to give patients the opportunity to network with others, watch presentations on the latest treatments and research and listen to patient stories. We will also run the event virtually so patients who cannot make it to The Christie can watch from home. Once you’ve registered for the event, we will send the link to you nearer the time.

The day will start at 10am (with registration/coffee from 9:30am), finish at approximately 4pm and lunch will be provided.

We want to understand and share the excellent work that is being undertaken at The Christie and also take the opportunity to obtain some feedback about the service.

The day is open to patients and one friend/relative, and you can register by emailing Rebecca.halstead@nhs.net. Please note: there are 2 tickets per patient only and please state if you registering as a face-to-face or virtual attendee. If you would like watch previous patient days, please visit our Peritoneal tumour service patient days page.
