Professional biography
Dr John Chadwick qualified in Medicine at Newcastle University in 2009. He completed his medical training between Newcastle, Manchester and New Zealand. Dr Chadwick commenced his academic haematology fellowship in 2015 and was appointed a consultant at The Christie in 2024. He has extensive research experience in myeloid disorders having completed a master's research project at the Stanford Cancer Institute and his CRUK-funded PhD at the Paterson Building.
Dr Chadwick is a member of the myeloid and transplant teams managing patients with a breadth of myeloid disorders. He is actively involved in clinical trials as a principal investigator. His focus is on delivering effective therapy for patients and maintaining their quality of life.
