Professional biography

Dr Helen Campbell graduated from the University of Sheffield in 1998 and completed her specialist training in haematology within the Mersey Deanery. She then spent 15 years as a specialist paediatric haematologist first at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and subsequently at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, with expertise in leukaemia and bone marrow transplantation. During this time, she was also involved in national clinical trials.

In 2024, Dr Campbell returned to adult haematology and joined The Christie at Macclesfield as a consultant haematologist. She provides specialist haematology care closer to home for patients in the local area.
