At Royal Oldham Hospital, we are proud to host Christie clinics, providing our Christie consultants with the opportunity to deliver outpatient services closer to patients’ homes across Greater Manchester. These clinics ensure that patients can access expert oncology care without the need to travel long distances to The Christie in Manchester.
Christie patients living in or near the Oldham area can receive selected systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) treatments at the Victoria Unit and the Lucy Pugh Unit at Royal Oldham Hospital. Please check your appointment letter for the location of your clinic if you are receiving SACT treatments at Oldham.
The Christie holds consultant-led SACT clinics and treatment is delivered by SACT nurses employed by Royal Oldham NHS Foundation Trust. At Royal Oldham Hospital, we currently hold the following Christie clinics: Lower Gastrointestinal, Urology, and Breast oncology.
You can find information for patients and visitors for car parking at The Royal Oldham, Fairfield General and Rochdale Infirmary on the Northern Care Alliance website. Hospital signage will direct you to the main visitor car parking on each of our hospital sites - please see your appointment letter for exact clinic location.
