Taking to the water for a sponsored swim is an exciting personal challenge. It’s also a great way to raise money to help support The Christie.

If you’re not a strong swimmer but want to take on a swimming event, you’ll need time to train. Plan well for this and give yourself enough time to build your distance up. If you can swim regularly, aim to add a few lengths to your swim every week.

You can also take on a triathlon if you’re looking for a more active challenge. Run, cycle and swim to test your fitness.
