The Christie Christmas Concert

Join us for a festive evening of Christmas music at The Christie Christmas Concert in the stunning surroundings of Manchester Cathedral, on Tuesday 8 December 2026, from 7pm to 9.15pm. 

With broadcast journalist Michelle Eagleton as our host, and entertainment from a variety of musicians, choirs, bands and singing groups the evening promises to be a magical occasion for all the family in support of The Christie Charity.

Proceeds from the concert will go towards our campaign to build a new scanning centre at The Christie.

The current scanning centre at The Christie was built in 1980. We urgently need to build a fit-for-purpose, modern scanning centre to give clinicians at The Christie access to the latest scanning technology. Advanced imaging allows experts to better understand the full extent of a patient’s disease, plan treatment more precisely, monitor progress and improve outcomes.

The new scanning centre will provide an enhanced space, improved patient experience and access to cutting-edge equipment. This will be capable of supporting research which will transform the future of cancer diagnosis and treatment.
