Supporting enhanced services at The Christie at Oldham and beyond

The Christie at Oldham radiotherapy centre opened in 2010, with donations from Christie Charity supporters helping to fund the £17 million centre. Thanks to supporters like you, specialist staff at The Christie at Oldham delivered over 17,000 radiotherapy treatments closer to home for patients in Oldham and the surrounding areas in 2024.

The Christie at Oldham was the first in a unique network of Christie radiotherapy centres, where patients can access first-class radiotherapy, closer to home. And with the opening of The Christie at Macclesfield in December 2021, donations from generous Christie Charity supporters helped to bring specialist cancer care closer to home for more people than ever before.
