Cancer doesn’t stop for a pandemic and our fundraising hasn’t stopped.

This year, we have lost a quarter of our usual income. This is due to our charity centre temporarily closing, major fundraising events not going ahead and some donors cancelling monthly donations.

A 25% drop in income is a heavy blow and directly impacts on the support we can offer the hospital.

This is an incredibly difficult time for us all. But despite the challenges of COVID-19, The Christie is still here to offer patients the treatment, care and support they need.

At The Christie charity, we are also doing everything we can to support cancer patients and their loved ones. But we have never needed you more.

And while we must all stay safe, there are many ways that you can still support us this year.

You can support our emergency appeal and help us recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. With your help, we can make sure we keep moving forwards for cancer patients.

Take a look at our Ideas generator for advice to create a great event, either with friends or on your own. You can also give money on our Donate page.

Your support and generosity means our colleagues in the hospital can continue to offer services above and beyond NHS funding. There’s never been a more important time to support our charity.

We still need your help to fund several key projects - you can see these on our What we are fundraising for page.
