Raising money in support of The Christie charity can be fun and easy. And one simple way you can support cancer patients is by holding your own Cuppa for The Christie event.

A Cuppa for The Christie is where you get together with a group of friends, family members or colleagues to have a brew, a slice of cake and a catch up. Every attendee donates a small amount to The Christie charity – so you can fundraise while having fun.

Planning a Cuppa for The Christie

Plan a date and time for your Cuppa for The Christie. Make sure you tell your guests when this is so they can book it in the diary.

Decide if you’re hosting your event in person or on a video call. A video chat is a great way to involve people you might not be able to see at this time, especially older relatives.

On the day of the event, make sure you’ve got coffee, tea and some cake and biscuits in. Collect donations from every guest. A suggested amount is £3, but we’ll let you decide how much you want to people to give.

Here are a few ideas for putting on your own Cuppa for The Christie event.
