Charity bingo night

Looking for an easy way to raise money for The Christie charity and get a lot of people involved? A charity bingo night is a fun and entertaining way to raise some funds for The Christie in support of cancer patients.

To start with, pick a date, time and venue for your charity bingo night. Make sure to invite your friends, family and colleagues along in exchange for a donation.

If you can’t host a charity bingo night in person at the moment, you can just as easily organise an online bingo event. You can do this on Zoom, Skype or another video messaging service.

Next, you’ll need to sort out your bingo equipment. You’ll need a bingo machine with balls and a set of bingo cards.

If you know anyone with bingo equipment, you can borrow this from them or DIY a basic one. To make it more affordable, you don’t need to make a fancy bingo cage machine – you can just pick some numbers out of a bowl or a bag.

Don’t forget to prepare some prizes for the winners at the charity bingo night. You could even make the night into a bigger occasion by hosting a raffle alongside the main bingo event.

If you’re hosting a charity bingo night for The Christie, make sure to get in touch and request a fundraising pack from us. We can send you out a free Christie t-shirt to wear during the event and a sponsor form to collect all of your money.

Do you want to support The Christie this year? Take on The Christie Challenge and help us keep moving for people with cancer.
