Want to celebrate your birthday but don’t want your friends to worry about finding the right gift? Would your special day be even more special if you were able to help others and raise some much needed funds for The Christie charity?
Why not set up a birthday fundraiser instead of getting presents?
Creating a birthday fundraiser on JustGiving is easy:
- Set a target amount
- Choose an end date
- Write a short message to explain why you’re raising money for The Christie
Once created, email the link to your friends and tell them you’re holding a birthday fundraiser for The Christie charity. Instead of buying gifts, your friends and family can donate to your birthday fundraiser.
You can also set up a fundraising page on Facebook. It works in a similar way and will send a notification to your friends and family as well – so you won’t even have to tell them about your birthday fundraiser.
