Bake sales

Organise a bake sale for a social way to raise money.

Bake up a storm

Planning a charity bake sale is a great way to raise money for The Christie at your workplace or school. Get your colleagues or school friends involved to fundraise together.

To start, make sure you put together a list of what everyone’s planning to bring to the bake sale. That way, you avoid ten people bringing chocolate cupcakes and nothing else to sell!

If you’re a baking novice, start with a simple bake sale recipe. A tray bake, fridge cake or cornflake cakes are a good place to start and always go down a storm.

It’s also a good idea to include a collection box on the table during your bake sale. That way, if anyone doesn’t want to treat themselves or can’t for dietary reasons, they can still support your cause.

Already planning a bake sale in support of the vital work that The Christie does for patients? Make sure you register your event and request a fundraising pack from us. We can send you a free Christie t-shirt, as well as some other great resources to make your event a success.

Do you want to support The Christie this year? Take on The Christie Challenge and help us keep moving for people with cancer.

If you're planning a sponsored bake sale as part of The Christie Challenge or as a separate fundraising activity, please create a JustGiving page in support of The Christie using the button below.
