This autumn, help support The Christie charity and enjoy an unforgettable, world-class cultural experience.

The acclaimed digital, creative and tech destination MediaCityUK will host Van Gogh Alive, the world’s most visited immersive, multi-sensory experience that exhibits the life and work of the seminal Dutch artist. This blockbuster multi-sensory experience completely immerses you in the life and work of Vincent van Gogh as you travel through periods of his life that defined him as an artist.

Van Gogh Alive is supporting the art room at The Christie, offering you the option to donate and support the service when you book tickets and while you visit the incredible exhibition.

What to expect at Van Gogh Alive

Experience over 3,000 images from the artist that are spectacularly presented with stunning detail, including iconic works like Starry Night, Sunflowers and lesser-known paintings that were inspired by his love of Japanese woodprints. The experience will also feature an interpretive area where you can learn more about Van Gogh’s life and works as well as interactive art stations where you can create your own art with the help of expert video tutorials.

Set to be one of the highlights of this autumn’s event calendar, Van Gogh Alive will open its doors from 22 October until 27 February 2022.

State-of-the-art immersive gallery technology immaculately displays Van Gogh’s work in a kaleidoscope of colour. Set to an evocative classical score and delivered via a high-fidelity 3D sound system, this combination of sound, visuals and aromas of Provence will give visitors the sensation of walking right into his paintings as if they are living and breathing.

After mesmerising a global audience of over 8 million people, Van Gogh Alive is set to be an unforgettable cultural experience for the whole family.
