Our first Spotlight event of the year will be on Monday 22 April 2024, from 10.30am until 12 noon at the Oglesby Cancer Research Building on Wilmslow Road.

This event will focus on Melanoma Research and both Professor Paul Lorigan and Dr Rebecca Lee will be speaking at the event along with a patient expert.

They will share what we have learnt about melanoma in the last 10 years, including the challenges that we still face. You'll also get to find out how vital research taking place right here in Manchester is now resulting in more personalised treatments for cancer patients.

The Christie Charity Spotlight events are an opportunity to hear from leading clinicians about their own area of work at The Christie and to learn about the impact that The Christie Charity has on treatment options and services available to patients.

They are free to attend and open to anyone who would like to hear more about our work.

If you would like to join us at our April event, please e-mail the-christie.spotlight@nhs.net with your full name and confirm the number of places you would like to book. You can also get in touch if you have any queries and a member of the team will be happy to help.
