Join the cast of the iconic 00s sitcom Early Doors on July 31 for an exclusive screening of Early Doors Live. You’ll get to see the raw uncut footage of Early Doors Live for the first time, filmed at the Lowry Theatre in 2018 and help support The Christie at the same time.

Early Doors for The Christie will be held in the stunning surroundings of Arley Hall and Gardens as a drive-in event. All proceeds from the event will go to The Christie charity, supporting cancer patients and their friends and families.

With state-of-the-art sound, the iCONIC 100 HD LED screen, Early Doors with The Christie will also feature a pre-show question and answer session with special guest cast members to be announced very soon. This event is not to be missed for Early Doors fans and promises to leave you calling out 'To the Regiment… I wish I was there!'

Tickets

Tickets for Early Doors for The Christie are £30 per car and include admission for up to 5 people per car. Please note: views from rear seats may be restricted. Your car registration is your ticket, tickets must not be resold.

Food and drink

A small selection of hot and cold drinks, food and snacks and popcorn will be available to purchase from food vendors on sites before and during your screening. 

Social distancing rules will be in place throughout Early Doors for The Christie event to ensure everyone’s safety. Please follow all one-way systems, queuing guidance and advice as you make your way around the venue.

We kindly ask that you wear a mask at all times when you are not inside your car.

You are also welcome to bring your own food and picnic in your car. Please keep all rubbish inside your car and dispose of it at home.

  • Cars with trailer attachments
  • Minibuses (8+ seats)

Arriving at the event in your car

Gates will open at 5.30pm and the event will start at 7pm. Cars will be situated on the site on a first come, first served basis.

On arrival, one of our stewards will register your car registration. They will then direct you into a parking space and give you a radio frequency to tune into.

All there is left to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the show!

Toilets

Toilets are available at Early Doors for The Christie and operate within social distancing measures. Please visit the toilet on your own. If accompanying a child to the toilets, only 1 adult and 1 child can go together.

Are there toilet facilities?

Individual toilets facilities are available at Early Doors for The Christie and operate within social distancing measures. These will be regularly cleaned and sanitised throughout the day.

Please use the hand sanitiser provided before and after using the facilities to help keep you and others safe.

Please visit the toilet on your own. If accompanying a child to the toilets, only 1 adult and 1 child can go together.

When should I arrive?

Please arrive at 5.30pm - the show will start at 7pm.

Can I smoke at the event?

No smoking and no vaping are allowed onsite.

Can I bring my dog to the screening?

Dogs are allowed onsite but you must keep them in the car at all times. If your dog needs an emergency toilet break, you must keep them on a short lead and clean up after them.

Can I bring children?

The screening and question and answer session is rated as suitable for 15 years and over.

Is there wheelchair access?

Yes, all of our events have wheelchair accessible facilities. Please let us know if you require any additional support onsite.

A standard admission ticket admits up to 5 people in 1 car. Please note: the view from the back seat may be restricted depending on the size of your car.

Can I sit outside my car?

You must remain in your car for the screening, unless you need to use the food or toilet facilities. This will help enable social distancing guidelines to be followed.

How do we hear the screening?

You will be given a radio frequency to tune into. Please select this using your in-car radio.

Will I be able to see the screen?

We’ve set the site up to allow a good view from all cars. Please note: the view from the back seat may be restricted depending on the size of your car.

Can I open my car window during the screening?

Yes, all cars will be positioned far enough apart to ensure social distancing. This means that all windows and convertible roofs can be open.

To ensure a smooth transition between events, we ask all cars to face forward and we do not allow people to watch from their boots or truck beds.

I drive a convertible. Can I have my car roof down during the screening?

Yes, all cars will be positioned far enough apart to ensure social distancing. This means that convertible roofs can be open.

Can I watch the film from my truck bed or boot of my car?

Can I have others in my car that aren't my household?

We advise all our customers to follow the latest Government guidance for social distancing and safety for their local area.

What if my number plate has changed?

If your number plate has changed since you booked your ticket, please contact us on 0161 918 7403 at least 2 hours before your arrival time.

This will give us time to update our records and ensure you have a swift entrance on arrival.

Can we park together with friends or family?

Parking spaces will be allocated upon arrival. If you and your friends arrive together, we will do our best to situate you close together but we cannot guarantee this.

How close will the next car be to me?

Cars will be spaced to allow for social distancing to take place so you can easily walk to and from the available facilities.

The cars will be parked next to each other like in a car park. If you do need to leave your car, please be aware of people in the car next to you.

Staying safe

We want everyone to have an enjoyable experience and we have worked hard to design an event which follows Government guidelines. Please help us by:

  • Ensuring you do not come to the show if you have any COVID-19 symptoms (contact us to arrange a ticket refund)
  • Respecting the social distancing guidelines and sticking to the designated paths.
  • Not leaving your designated space unless you need to use the available facilities.
  • Wearing a mask at all times when you are not inside your car.
