Let’s show cancer the red card

Get ready for an action-packed day of football on Friday 6 June 2025 as teams come together to tackle cancer head on!

The tournament runs from 12 noon to 5pm and takes place at the Hyde United Football Club. Enter a team of 7 and play through the group stages in the hope of reaching the final.

This isn’t just about the game – it’s about making a difference to Christie cancer patients and their families.

What's included

• 7-a-side tournament
• Open to men’s, women’s and mixed teams
• A minimum of 3 matches per team
• Trophy and medals for winners
• Refreshments and bar facilities available
• Supporters welcome (£3 entry, payable on the day)

The Christie Charity corporate football tournament will be in a 'world cup' format. 16 teams will be split into 4 groups of 4. Each of the group winners will then play the semi-finals, with the exciting final match taking place at 4pm. 

There will be a football-themed raffle to win some great prizes. A short winners' presentation with medals and a trophy will take place at the end of the event.
