Experience the first-ever Manchester Media City 5K relay festival on Wednesday 24 September 2025 and raise funds for The Christie Charity. Gather a team of 3 colleagues and walk, jog, or run the 5K relay route.

£100 + VAT for a team of 3 (fundraising target £250 per team)
The relay loops around Media City, over the canal, past the Imperial War Museum and the ITV and BBC television studios.
The relay is for teams of 3 people from the same company. Teams can enter one of 4 categories which include:
- Relay race – women
- Relay race – men
- Relay race – mixed
- Walk
All routes are 5 kilometres. In the relay race categories, one team member will run at a time. In the walk category, the entire team walks the route together. Individuals and teams will be times and leaderboards enable teams to track and support participants.
After the race, you can enjoy the event festival. Your ticket includes a meal and drink voucher per person which you can use while you enjoy live DJ sets, musical performances and cultural entertainment. It will be the place to relax and socialise until you’re ready to get back on your feet!
