The DDC Group, Christie supporters

The DDC Group is a global business process management provider, delivering advanced technology solutions across large-scale, data-driven industries. Acting as an extension of its clients’ operations, the organisation supports both front- and back-office functions, enabling improved efficiency and performance. The DDC Group has been a committed partner to The Christie Charity for over 12 years, contributing more than £1,000,000 to a range of initiatives.

On 14 April 2026, The DDC Group was proud to sponsor a special fundraising event hosted by The Christie Charity at The Mystery of Banksy – A Genius Mind exhibition. The Mystery of Banksy is an interactive collection of graffiti, photographs, sculptures, video installations and prints, exclusively reproduced for this special show in the heart of Manchester.

Running from Friday 13 March 2026 to Sunday 5 July 2026, visitors can explore the mind-blowing history of the world’s most elusive street artist with a captivating video screening that illuminates the most important stages of Banksy’s renowned career.

The Christie Charity is the official partner for the Mystery of Banksy. The exhibition raises money for The Christie Charity through “tap to donate” spots around the exhibition, alongside a dedicated charity event takeover and an exclusively commissioned artwork which will be donated for auction.

An exclusive evening in support of The Christie Charity was generously gifted by the exhibition organisers, Cartel Events, and took place on Tuesday 14 April 2026 at Depot Mayfield.

The event was hosted by Gemma Care and featured a captivating live performance from poet Mike Garry, alongside music from Archie Horan. Guests also took part in a live auction, with a unique monkey figure inspired by Banksy drawing particular interest.

The special event successfully brought together supporters, partners, and guests for an exclusive cultural experience, while raising vital funds toward the Charity’s Total Body PET-CT Scanner appeal.

From the Charity’s perspective, the event represented an important milestone in its ongoing efforts to enhance diagnostic capabilities at The Christie. The introduction of a Total Body PET-CT scanner will significantly increase scanning capacity, improve early detection of cancer, and expand access to advanced imaging for patients.

From a sponsor perspective, The DDC Group viewed the partnership as a meaningful opportunity to support innovation in cancer care while contributing to a cause aligned with its values. Our organisation recognised the impact of collaborative initiatives in driving tangible improvements in patient outcomes and was delighted to play a role in an event that combined cultural engagement with charitable impact.

We'd like to say a big thanks for The DDC Group’s support, as their sponsorship was instrumental in delivering a successful and engaging event. The evening not only generated vital funding, but also highlighted the therapeutic and expressive value of art, with patient-inspired works reflecting the influence of Banksy showcased throughout the exhibition. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and guests, more than £47,500 has been raised to date in support of The Christie Charity.

The DDC Group’s involvement underscores the importance of long-term corporate partnerships in enabling The Christie Charity to deliver world-class cancer services. Through sustained collaboration, such partnerships help to accelerate investment in pioneering equipment, research, and patient care initiatives.
