The local farming community are coming together once again to host their annual Tractor Run for The Christie Charity on Sunday 28 December 2025, from 11am to 5.30pm. The event is in memory of good friends, Harvey Mitchell, Lisa Messenger and Stuart Wainwright.

Starting and finishing in Woodford, travelling through Poynton, Marple, New Mills, Hayfield and Disley.
Cost
No ticket cost - people are welcome to watch the convoy on route where donations will be welcomed.
Over 100 tractors and vehicles will be departing from Woodford, before travelling through local towns including Poynton, Marple, New Mills, Hayfield and Disley, before returning to Woodford.
This wonderful event has already raised over £57,000 in support of cancer patients in the North West and everyone is welcome to watch the convoy in these areas. There will also be opportunities to donate as it passes by.
