Meet the team behind The Christie’s Cancer Information Centre. Funded by Christie Charity supporters, the centre offers patients and families a welcoming space to access clear information, emotional support and guidance throughout their cancer journey.
Whether helping someone understand a diagnosis, access counselling services, arranging an end-of-life wedding or signposting to financial, emotional and practical support, the team plays an important role in ensuring nobody faces cancer alone.
You’ll meet Natasha Henderson and her partner Anthony Holden both aged 35, who found comfort and reassurance at the Cancer Information Centre following Natasha’s breast cancer diagnosis in 2020. Over the last few months, the team has supported them in accessing trusted information, emotional support and practical guidance, helping them feel more informed and less alone during an incredibly challenging time. Through conversations, advice and a listening ear, the centre has become an important source of support for both Natasha and Anthony as they navigate life during cancer treatment.
