What to expect
This one-day workshop helps you develop the confidence and sensitivity needed to support people who are grieving.
You’ll explore grief theory, learn practical communication strategies, and practise responding to bereaved individuals with empathy and understanding.
Using real-life scenarios and guided reflection, you’ll gain the tools to approach bereavement conversations with confidence, compassion and care.

- Communicate effectively with people who are bereaved
- Demonstrate active listening and compassionate responses

Note: Not recommended for those who have experienced a recent personal bereavement (within the past 12 months).
