What to expect
The HEARTS Process Teacher’s Course is a two-day, immersive programme designed to empower qualified HEARTS Practitioners to confidently teach HEARTS techniques to colleagues in their workplace. This highly interactive course blends theory, practice, and reflective learning to help you understand not just what to teach, but how to teach it well.
Through guided exploration of adult learning principles, communication skills, and effective teaching methods, you’ll build the confidence to design and deliver engaging sessions that make a real impact. You will practise planning short courses, developing individual sessions, giving presentations to managers, and evaluating learning in authentic workplace scenarios.
Tutors Ann Carter and Dr Peter Mackereth will share real-world examples from experienced HEARTS teachers and create a supportive environment where you can ask questions, practise skills and refine your teaching approach. The course also includes a comprehensive training manual to support you long after the programme ends.
