We understand that many young people are at a key moment in their lives as they think about what comes next after school or college. Real‑world experience can make a big difference, helping build confidence, grow skills, and explore options at a pace that feels right for them.
Working in partnership with schools, colleges, and community organisations, we’re committed to making NHS careers more accessible for young people from all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences. We recognise that everyone’s journey is different, and we aim to create opportunities that feel safe, welcoming and genuinely meaningful.
From clinical care to catering, finance, estates and many other areas, every department plays an important part in supporting our patients. We want to offer young people this variety of roles and highlight the wide range of skills and careers within the NHS.
Our aim is to make The Christie a place where every young person feels included, respected and supported. A place where they can learn, ask questions freely, and discover future possibilities in an environment that honours their strengths and personal story.
