Health Equity Education
Learning that fosters understanding of the impact of inequity and trauma on health access, experience, and outcomes, and strengthens fairness, inclusion, and culturally responsive care.
At The Christie Institute for Cancer Education, we believe in education which reaches deep into our communities – whether they be local or further afield. Our core values are rooted in providing opportunities within and beyond cancer education which puts people and patients at the heart of everything we do. Shaping education and care together with our communities
Opening up pathways into healthcare careers.
Our Masters in Advancing Future Cancer Care is a new postgraduate programme for healthcare professionals who want to deepen their specialist knowledge, strengthen their practice and help shape the future of cancer care.
Across the NHS, discussions about accessibility, inclusion, co-production and health inequity are much more fluent and occur in ways that perhaps would not have been possible even a decade ago.
The Christie Institute for Cancer Education has been recognised by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes (OECI) for its international, inclusive and integrated approach to cancer education.
The Christie is based in Withington, Manchester. Our site is easily accessible by car and by public transport. You can find information in this section about how to get here and our car parks.
