Thursday 9, 16 and 23 June 2022 (3 x 2 hour virtual sessions), plus 1 classroom session on Sunday 26 June 2022, 10am to 3:30pm
This practical course focuses on adapting your massage practice for working with cancer patients, whilst learning to use the chair safely and with confidence.
The course includes a ‘menu’ of oncology massage techniques ideally suited for use with frail or vulnerable patients, and those in palliative and supportive care settings.
The oncology massage techniques taught will translate to any on-site environment, where a rapid response to relaxation is required.
Please note: you need a Level 3 Massage Therapy diploma or equivalent to attend this course and at least 1 year’s therapeutic practice.
