All healthcare professionals interested and/or involved in the treatment and management of sarcoma.

What to expect

This study day will focus on developing an understanding of multidisciplinary sarcoma management, exploring radiotherapy,  surgery, chemotherapy, toxicity management, and the patient perspective. Topics include:

  • Radiotherapy approaches in soft tissue sarcoma, including proton beam therapy
  • Systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) for adjuvant and palliative treatment
  • Surgical management and plastic reconstructive surgery techniques
  • Management of radiotherapy-induced toxicities and wound care
  • Specialised sarcoma types including GIST and desmoid tumours
  • Radiology and pathway considerations
  • Physiotherapy and supportive care
  • Patient perspectives and experiences
