Nurse recruitment event

Nurse recruitment event - 10 June 2023

Are you a qualified nurse, a student qualifying in 2024 or are you an experienced nurse thinking about returning to the profession? We're holding a recruitment event to let you know more about the exciting opportunities to work and develop your career at The Christie.

At our event, you will find out from our nursing teams about the diverse roles and development opportunities we are offering. Hear first-hand from nurses and frontline colleagues in the area you are interested in working in and learn about what it’s like to work at our internationally leading cancer centre.

We will also offer advice on applying for our vacancies and explain the interview process. You will also hear from our nurse leaders what it means to be a Christie nurse, our vision and values, and the unique corporate benefits you could enjoy as a Christie employee.

The event will be held on Saturday 10 June 2023, between 10am and 1pm, at The Christie School of Oncology, department 17, 3rd Floor, M20 4BX.

You can book your place on our nursing recruitment event form. You can also fill out the form if you can’t attend the event but still want to get in touch about our exciting nurse opportunities!

More about The Christie

The Christie specialises in cancer treatment, research and education. It is the largest single site cancer centre in Europe.

Treating more than 44,000 patients a year from across the UK, we became the first UK centre to be officially accredited as a comprehensive cancer centre. We also have our own dedicated hospital charity to improve care for our patients and their families.

In 2017, the Care Quality Commission rated The Christie as the best specialist trust in the country, and one of the top 3 trusts overall in England.

The Christie employs nearly 3,000 staff, all of whom work together to provide the best possible cancer care and patient experience.

Some of our recent developments include a state-of-the-art specialised haematology and teenage and young adult unit, excellent facilities at our Oak Road entrance and the first high-energy NHS proton beam therapy centre in the UK.
