Palace Theatre and Opera House, Manchester, Christie fundraisers

This month we would like to say a massive thank you to the Palace Theatre and Opera House, Manchester who together have raised just under £25,500 for The Christie charity.

Stacey Broadmeadow, Theatre Manager, said: "Bucket collections were held after selected performances at the Palace Theatre & Opera House. Audiences that visited the venues, generously gave £25,463.34 in support of The Christie, who are leading experts in cancer care, research and education, based in Manchester.

"The venues wanted to support The Christie to say thank you, as many employees and their families have been treated or supported by this very special hospital. The bucket collections would not have been possible without the support and cooperation of the producers and cast members of the shows and the generosity of the Manchester audiences."

Thank you so much to everyone involved. It is kind donations from the public and the support from our exceptional fundraisers that ultimately brings us that one step closer to a future without cancer.
