Mount Toubkal Trek Itinerary

16 to 20 September 2020

Day 1

We depart the UK for our flight to Marrakech. Upon arrival, we will meet our local guides and transfer to our hotel.

Day 2 Marrakech to Nelter Hut

We take a transfer from the hotel to the start point of our challenge at Berber village Imlil. Our challenge starts in the mountainous area ‘Ardrar n’Deren’ by the Berbers which means the ‘mountain of mountains’. We will trek from the leafy valley through Sidi Chamarouch before a push to Nelter Camp.

Trek distance - approx. 10 km/ 5-7hrs

Day 3 Summit Day – Mt Toubkal – 4,167m

This is probably the toughest day we’ve got ahead of us. Although it isn’t the longest trekking day, it’s definitely the most difficult in terms of terrain. But it will all be worth it when you reach the top of the highest point in North Africa! You will be rewarded with a view you will never forget.

Trek distance - approx. 8km/5-7hrs

Day 4 Nelter Hut to Marrakech

After a hearty breakfast, our trek will take us through the valleys downhill until we reach Aroumd. We transfer to Marrakech to spend the evening celebrating our achievements with a celebration dinner Moroccan style!

Trek distance - approx. 8 km/4-6hrs

Day 5

Finally, we take the transfer to Marrakech airport for our flight back to the UK.
