We appreciate every donation we receive here at The Christie; we simply wouldn’t be able to achieve our goals to help cancer patients without the generosity of our supporters.
By giving a significant gift to The Christie charity you will enable us to continually improve cancer care. We have ambitious plans to invest in research, provide vital support and develop ground-breaking treatments to make sure The Christie remains a world leader in cancer developments.
Caring at The Christie
The Christie has been pioneering cancer research breakthroughs for over 100 years and today is at the forefront in cancer research, delivering first-class treatment and care for patients and training and educating the oncologists of the future.
Can you help us to make a change?
A major gift can fund a ground-breaking piece of research, provide specialist medical equipment or create a better environment in which cancer patients are able to relax. One North West philanthropist Sir Norman Stoller CBE has made an enormous difference by funding equipment in our new proton beam therapy research room, Sir Norman says:
I had cancer of the colon in 1997, and a fabulous surgeon saved my life. I then got cancer of the prostate in 2012, and they say that anyone who has cancer twice is just greedy! The Christie is one of the most fantastic centres of excellence in this field, and who would not want to help them? So I am pleased to support the proton beam therapy research room.
Working with us
We deeply value the close relationships we build with our donors; we will work with you to demonstrate how you can make a remarkable difference in your community. You will see your generosity bring about change and make a measureable impact toward a future without cancer. If you find the prospect of revolutionising the fight against cancer exciting; together, we can make exceptional things happen.
