We appreciate every donation we receive here at The Christie. Without the generosity of our supporters, we simply wouldn’t be able to achieve our goals to help cancer patients.

By giving a significant gift to The Christie charity, we can continue to improve cancer care. We have ambitious plans to invest in research, provide vital support and develop ground-breaking treatments to make sure The Christie remains a world leader in cancer developments.

But we can’t do it without your support.

Caring at The Christie

The Christie has been pioneering cancer research breakthroughs for over 100 years. Today, we are at the forefront in cancer research, delivering first-class treatment and care for patients and training and educating the oncologists of the future.

Can you help us to make a change?

A major gift can fund a ground-breaking piece of research, provide specialist medical equipment or create a better environment in which cancer patients are able to relax. One North West philanthropist Sir Norman Stoller CBE has made an enormous difference by funding equipment in our new proton beam therapy research room.

I had cancer of the colon in 1997, and a fabulous surgeon saved my life. I then got cancer of the prostate in 2012, and they say that anyone who has cancer twice is just greedy! The Christie is one of the most fantastic centres of excellence in this field, and who would not want to help them? So I am pleased to support the proton beam therapy research room.

- Sir Norman Stoller CBE

Working with us

We deeply value the close relationships we build with our donors. We will work with you to demonstrate how you can make a remarkable difference in your community. You will see your generosity bring about change and make a real impact toward a future without cancer.

Businessman and philanthropist Ian Taylor pledged an amazing £4.5m to support research and innovation in high-energy proton beam therapy for patients with cancers of the head and neck.

Mr Taylor came to visit the proton beam therapy centre at The Christie to see how his generous donation will benefit patients.

If you find the prospect of revolutionising the fight against cancer exciting, get in touch with us today. Together, we can make exceptional things happen.
