We have made the difficult decision to close both our main office at Candleford Road and our charity centre in the main Christie building until further notice.
As I’m sure you can appreciate, as a charity which fundraises entirely for the benefit of patients, the current priority for every member of our staff is to ensure we can continue to provide the very best care for all our patients, and in the safest possible way.
Members of our team are now working directly within the hospital, supporting our clinical colleagues with tasks aimed at making this difficult time for patients and their relatives, as easy and safe as possible.
They will also be working remotely and can be contacted via their usual email address, or alternatively for general enquiries, you can email email@example.com. Post will be checked on a daily basis, but our usual telephone numbers may not be operating for the time-being.
We appreciate that this is an uncertain and anxious time, but we hope we will be able to count on your continued support during and after this crisis. If you have received any of our recent appeals, if you can’t respond right now, perhaps you could put them to one side to come back to them at a better time.
We hope you and your loved ones keep well. We will look forward to getting in touch again when we are able to get back to normal, so we can get back to what our charity does best, which is raising funds to provide enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds.
