Catherine said: "I am absolutely thrilled to be performing at Manchester Cathedral this Christmas to raise vital funds for The Christie. The Cathedral is absolutely beautiful, steeped in history, and the acoustics are wonderful.

Stephen Anderson, events manager at The Christie said: "The Christie Christmas concert is always a very special evening with such a festive feel.
