Introduction to Oncology Nursing: Understanding The Patient Journey for Allied Health Professionals and Nurses

This study day will identify common cancer treatments and supportive techniques to prepare attendees for management of cancer patients. 

 

       

 

Aims/Objectives

The devised programme has been developed over the years to carefully meet the needs of Allied Health Professionals, Nurses, and those who are new to Oncology Nursing wishing to develop their 3rd year studies further.

Intended Audience

Registered Nurses, Allied Healthcare Professionals and 3rd Year Student Nurses who are new to oncology, wanting to develop an essential understanding of treatment options for cancer patients.

 

Outcomes

With the aim to prepare attendees for the management of cancer patients, the study day will be delivered through an agenda of Christie professionals. The day will also provide a great opportunity to network with other members of the multi-disciplinary teams. 

Attendees will also be provided with lunch within the cost of the event fee.
