The Grand Round and Oncology Seminar Series is a chain of events operating on a weekly basis for Christie staff.
The aim of this seminar is to educate a varied audience on the different aspects of Oncology and give them a greater understanding of the selected topic. The hour long seminar may have multiple speakers or topics in order to fully engage the audience and most can be watched via live steam.
The Grand Rounds are suitable for all internal members of staff - whether it is clinical or not – though some topics may be more relevant to certain profession than others.
All participants receive a certificate which is worth 1CPD credit and are invited to the light refreshments which take place 30 minutes prior to the speakers. We aim to attract sponsorship for Grand Rounds which supports/or is relevant to the topic.
The Grand Round and Oncology Seminar Series take place on a Friday: Refreshments, 12:30-13:00. Seminar, 13:00-14:00.
