Do you want to find out more about the how, the who, the what and the why of proton beam therapy?

We will be hosting an online informative afternoon where you can learn more about proton beam therapy. You will be able to hear from experts in the field and first hand from patients who have had proton beam therapy.

Our proton beam therapy consumer day is suitable for anyone who would like to find out more about proton beam therapy. We're hosting the day in partnership with University College London Hospitals Foundation Trust. This event is support by the Science and Technology Facilities Council and the CTRad Radiotherapy Research Group.

The proton beam therapy consumer day takes place on Friday 28 April 2023, 1pm to 5pm (online via Zoom). You can register your free place now via Eventbrite.

Proton beam therapy consumer day competitions

As part of the proton beam therapy consumer day, we are running a series of special proton-themed competitions.

Competition entries:

Proton panda 1 (colouring)
Proton panda 2 (colouring)
Crossword
A photograph/poem/short video (2 minutes maximum)

Whether you are a current or previous proton beam therapy patient, you’ve cared for someone who has had treatment, or you’re just a creative person interested in proton beam therapy, we would love you to submit your artistic piece.

All competitions have been designed and created by patients.
