Colorectal and peritoneal oncology centre referral and second opinion

UK NHS patients

If you live in the England and are being treated on the NHS, you'll be referred to us by your specialist doctor or GP. We also offer a second opinion if you're looking for additional advice and support. Please note that patients from Wales may require additional local approval before we can offer an opinion and treatment.

Referral should be in the form of a letter outlining the diagnosis, treatment to date and the reason for referral. It can be sent by fax, post or email.

When we get your referral letter, we'll send you a response to acknowledge that it's arrived. Our administrative team will then collect all the relevant information to help us give our opinion. For patients referred to us with peritoneal tumours, we have a 'consultant of the week' system to make sure your referral is dealt with promptly.

Private patients

Private patients from the UK or abroad can select the surgeon they wish to see using either by phone or online.

Doctors making private referrals can write us a letter outlining the diagnosis, treatment to date and the reason for referral.
