Professional biography

Dr Mak obtained her medical degree in Leeds and trained in radiology in Manchester before obtaining a consultant post at The Christie in 2006.

She is a diagnostic oncology radiologist with a specialist interest in post-treatment brain tumour, head and neck cancer and haematological malignancy.

Dr Mak reports CT, MR, XR and oncology nuclear medicine, and is part of the PET CT reporting group at The Christie. She participates in head and neck, haematology and lymphoma multidisciplinary team.

She is actively involved in teaching and is an educational supervisor in radiology and academic advisor for Manchester Medical School students.
