Responsibilities
Member of the supra-regional soft tissue sarcoma service in Manchester; undertakes urological cancer clinics and multi-disciplinary team at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport; provides sessional acute oncology and is the clinical lead for acute oncology at Stockport and is a member of The Christie acute oncology management team.
Member of the ARSAC committee; Royal College of Radiologists final FRCR examiner.
Professional biography
Dr Coyle has been a consultant since 1998. She is a member of the Administration of Radioactive Substances Advisory Committee (ARSAC), the faculty board of the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) and is also a member of the Joint Collegiate Council for Oncology (JCCO). Dr Coyle served as the RCR final FRCR examiner from 2009-2014. She was the recipient of the inaugural award of Clinical Tutor of the Year 2011 by the Oncology Registrars Forum. Prior to returning to The Christie where she had trained, she was a consultant clinical oncologist in Leeds where she had been the clinical lead for radiotherapy at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. She had previously been clinical lead for the head and neck multi-disciplinary team, a member of the Yorkshire Cancer Network radiotherapy and urology groups and chair for the head and neck group.
